Dance for Parkinson’s, Wells is led by a team of founding partners including those living with Parkinson’s and professional dance leaders.
Georgie led the group between 2024 – early 2026. These days, she steps in now and again, leads on evaluation and supports with management and development.
The group made a film in 2024, with Lerato Stanley-Dunn and Somerset Film. You can watch it below.

With Createmovedance, Georgie runs a regular class for people with neurological challenges. It is fun, creative, friendly and there are standing and seated options throughout.
Class is on Thursdays 1.45-3.30pm, in the very lovely village of Bromham, at the Community Hub which hosts disabled parking, popular cafe and air conditioning to boot.

Georgie was the recipient of a Midlands4Cities AHRC doctoral training award to complete a PhD at Coventry University’s renowned Centre for Dance Research (C-DaRE). Georgie worked with People Dancing to produce research on the lived experience of people dancing with Parkinson’s around the UK as part of the Live Well & Dance with Parkinson’s programme (2019 – 2025).
